Service Technician Trainee (m/f)

Position: Service Technician Trainee Various Locations Responsibilities: Successfully complete required training as directed by the Service Operations Manager Perform on-site maintenance on wind turbine equipment in accordance with OEM maintenance manuals and training Functional testing and analysis of electrical circuits Perform mechanical and electrical component repair or replacements of parts. Collect turbine data for research or analysis Complete reports and paperwork as required Perform all other duties as assigned Requirements: Work independently with minimal supervision High School Diploma or equivalent Two years technical training or equivalent experience Strong verbal and written communication skills Ability to climb 200+ foot wind towers on a daily basis and work in confined spaces under all types of weather conditions for extended periods Ability to work around low to medium voltage Ability to read schematics Advanced knowledge of maintenance and electrical testing equipment for turbines Advanced computers skills, including word processing, spreadsheets, diagnostic tools Able to report to work promptly and regularly and exercise independent judgment Ability to travel internationally to Germany or other countries as assigned Ability to travel within the USA to meet business requirements Able to work overtime, holidays, weekends on short notice and ability to meet deadlines Able to concentrate and perform work accurately Able to react to change productively and handle other tasks as assigned Valid drivers license and maintain insurability REpower offers competitive salaries, comprehensive benefits and 401K plans, and a stimulating, international work environment.
