Technical Advisor (m/f) Offshore Service/Shipbuilding

Technical Advisor (m/f) Offshore Service/Shipbuilding

Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical advice and track/monitor deadlines during construction of REpower Offshore Service fleet
  • Manage requisite change specifications
  • Monitor performance criteria
  • Offer support with regard to nautical issues
  • Establish and refine structures for nautical operations as well as essential processes and procedures for operational use
  • Optimise interfaces between Offshore Service fleet and strategic as well as operational Service
  • Oversee all offshore-specific service issues relating to nautical operations and ensure that relevant aspects are incorporated into respective departments and projects
  • Coordinate and define all necessary measures required to ensure effective offshore services, working in close collaboration with relevant technical departments
  • Monitor and optimise consistent processes in line with specified requirements
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of service processes with regard to replacement parts, tools and documentation as well as thus resulting service packages
Profile:
  • Engineering degree in the field of Shipbuilding/Nautical Operations Engineering
  • Proven track record in shipbuilding as well as nautical and dock operations
  • Experience in wind energy sector desirable
  • Understanding of project management, including methods and tools
  • Demonstrable ability to address complex issues
  • Computer literacy in MS Office and SAP
  • Good command of English, both written and spoken; additional language skills would be an advantage
  • Structured approach to work and well-developed analytical capabilities, together with assertiveness and negotiating skills
  • Willingness to familiarise yourself with new topics
  • High degree of commitment, reliability, flexibility, loyalty and team spirit
  • Confidence, conscientiousness and ability to assume responsibility
  • Open, communicative approach
  • Willingness to travel
  • Ability to work at sea
  • Ability to work at heights (extended level G 41)
