Electrical Engineer

Summary Position Description: Performs engineering tasks that support sales contract negotiation and execution, project implementation, and service and maintenance activities. Essential Functions: Provide electrical engineering services including system and component design, problem evaluation, resolution and technical direction Develop work methods, procedures, calculation tools and standards Assist with grid code requirement monitoring and analysis Work closely with internal and external customers and stakeholders including counterparts in Germany Develop and manage relevant documents, e.g. communication and electrical layouts and other documents required for project process Act as the primary resource for SCADA system questions and system development Regularly collaborate with coworkers in Germany Other activities as assigned Qualifications & Experience: Degree in electrical engineering Five+ years wind or energy industry experience Registration as a Professional Engineer or eligible for registration in the near future Working knowledge of energy industry and related OSHA regulations Eligible to work in the US Willingness to travel within the US and International Working knowledge of transmission and distribution systems codes, regulations and standards, including FERC and NERC Ability to understand and evaluate design of medium and high voltage systems Working knowledge of SCADA systems desired Knowledge of the IEC 61400-25 desired Email resume, references and salary requirements to jobs(a)repower-usa.com Please, no phone calls about this job Must possess unrestricted authorization to work in USA and proof of legal US residency REpower USA is an Equal Employment Opportunity Employer
